A Nugget of Love

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!  Hope you have a super day with the ones you love.  Here is the Valentine I made for my teenage son.  It will be hanging from his bathroom mirror when he wakes up :-)

I used two punches from the Petal Card Punch to make the hearts.  It’s the perfect size for a Hershey’s Nugget.

Other Supplies Used:

  • Cherry Cobbler Card Stock
  • Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine
  • Varsity Letters Alphabet Stamp Set

Have a great day and don’t eat too much chocolate :-)

Happy Birthday to My Hubby!!

Today is my hubby’s birthday!!  I’m not gonna’ tell you how old he is, but let’s just say this is his last year in this particular decade :-)

I wanted to make him a treat.  I’ve seen these cake boxes before and I finally got up the nerve to try one out.  It was soooo easy!  I LOVE it!!

I used Chocolate Chip, Real Red and Very Vanilla card stock.  The flower accents are made with crumpled up 1 3/4″ Scallop Circle Punches.

The sentiment comes from the Word Play stamp set.  I stamped it onto a 1 3/4″ Scallop Circle Punch and then layered it onto two 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punches.  The “candle” is rolled card stock stuffed with yellow tissue paper.

And . . .the best part is, it’s stuffed with CANDY!!  YUM!  Sweets for my sweetie!

Happy Birthday Baby!!!!

Leadership Make and Takes – Part 3

Here is the final installment of Make and Takes from Leadership.  They were all so fun to make.  I hope they inspire you to do some creating of your own.

Each of today’s projects use my new favorite the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit. Even the cute little flag came from this kit.

This cute little Fancy Favor Box is perfect for any small gift.  I absolutely love the detail on the intricate decorative top.

This print inside the frame was created with My Digital Studio.  The embellishments are added to the outside of the frame with . . . you guessed it, the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit

And finally, a gorgeous scrapbook page.  Now to find a picture worthy of this fun and flirty 8 x 8 page.

So . . . which of these make and takes was your favorite?

Dude … Chocolate! or Dude Chocolate-You Decide!

Here’s a treat for the guys this Valentine’s Day!  These were made using the Pillow Box Bigz Die (113466)  and the one of the Lots of Tags Sizzlits Dies (114508).  They will hold 6 Hershey’s Kisses.  YUM!!

Leadership Make and Takes – Part 2

Here is the next batch of wonderful Make and Takes from my Stampin’ Up! Leadership trip!

This lovely card uses the Blossom Builders Kit and is already on it’s way to a friend who is recovering from surgery.  Get well soon, Debbie!!

Stampin’ Up! didn’t provide the Mason Jar, but I just happened to have one handy.  I think they are a required household item when you live in the South :-) By the way that is paper under the lid (not fabric).  Did you know you could do that?  Leave a comment if you want to know how.

This card uses the Tea Stain Stampin’ Spot from Stampin’ Up!’s Distressing Essentials Kit to antique the edges.  I REALLY like the effect.  I have to admit I have looked at this product in the catalog and thought to myself, “I don’t need that, I can antique Chocolate Chip or Sahara Sand.”  But, this gives a much more subtle look.  I can see that I will be using it a LOT!

Leadership Make and Takes – Part 1

I want to show you the wonderful Make and Takes that Stampin’ Up! provided for us at our 2012 Leadership Conference in San Antonio, TX.

They had TEN make and takes for us!! Here are 3 of them.

This card was so fun to make because it took me outside of my comfort zone.  I wouldn’t normally put these colors together, but I really love the results!  The flowers came from the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit.  LOVE IT!

This cute gift bag features the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit again. It is cut out with the Fancy Favor Bigz XL Die.  So quick and easy!

This bright and cheery card makes me smile! Wondering where the adorable yellow flower came from? Once again, Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit.

Stay tuned for more Leadership Make and Takes – coming soon.
