Are You Ready for Some Football?!?!??

Well, I can’t say that I am a huge football fan.  As a “Band Mom”, football is that annoying event that happens before and after the half-time show.

But, I am excited about two things this Super Bowl Sunday!!

First, of course . . . the commercials.  I’ve already seen the Ferris Bueller (Honda CRV) commercial.  LOVE IT!!!   And second, I’m excited about the special discount I will be offering ALL day on Super Bowl Sunday!

Simply place an order with me before the end of the game on Sunday.  Everyone who places an order on Super Bowl Sunday will get a discount based on the last digit of the winning team’s final score!!

So . . . for example, if the score is 28-14 everyone will get 8% off of their total order.  And don’t worry about that pesky zero :-)  If the final score ends in a zero (example: 20-7) everyone will get 10% off of their order!!!  Remember, orders must be placed through me either by phone, by email, or in person.  This is a Craftastic Passion exclusive offer and the Stampin’ Up! online ordering system won’t recognize it :-)

Tell your friends! I don’t want anyone to miss this FUN offer!!

To place your order call: (850) 499-3065

Has Phil Doomed Us?!?!?

Well, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow today.  That means six more weeks of winter weather.  But if the next six weeks are like this one.  I’ll take it!!!  Usually, February is the most miserable time of year here in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  Now wait, don’t start with the comments . . . “WHATEVER!!!  You live in FLORIDA, what do YOU have to complain about.”  Let me explain.  I do live in Florida, but it’s a BIG state and I live about as North as you can get.  We often joke and say we live in “lower Alabama.”  And it does get cold here.  Just not that often THIS year, I guess.  And as soon as I post this . . . I will have totally jinxed everything!  :-)

Oh wait!!!  Apparently, Phil isn’t really a weather man after all.  Nevermind.

My Son’s Crazy Invention!

Here is a crazy video that my son and I filmed last year.  I was trying measure my ribbon and had to unwind several spools to do so.  Well, what gets unwound has to be rewound.  It was a tedious task until . . . dum da da duuuuuuum . . . Hayden to the rescue.  He got our battery powered screwdriver and turned it into a Stampin Up! Ribbon Winder.  Too cool!  This video makes me smile.  Hope it gives you a laugh too.

Leadership Make and Takes – Part 3

Here is the final installment of Make and Takes from Leadership.  They were all so fun to make.  I hope they inspire you to do some creating of your own.

Each of today’s projects use my new favorite the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit. Even the cute little flag came from this kit.

This cute little Fancy Favor Box is perfect for any small gift.  I absolutely love the detail on the intricate decorative top.

This print inside the frame was created with My Digital Studio.  The embellishments are added to the outside of the frame with . . . you guessed it, the Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit

And finally, a gorgeous scrapbook page.  Now to find a picture worthy of this fun and flirty 8 x 8 page.

So . . . which of these make and takes was your favorite?

Dude … Chocolate! or Dude Chocolate-You Decide!

Here’s a treat for the guys this Valentine’s Day!  These were made using the Pillow Box Bigz Die (113466)  and the one of the Lots of Tags Sizzlits Dies (114508).  They will hold 6 Hershey’s Kisses.  YUM!!

Leadership Make and Takes – Part 2

Here is the next batch of wonderful Make and Takes from my Stampin’ Up! Leadership trip!

This lovely card uses the Blossom Builders Kit and is already on it’s way to a friend who is recovering from surgery.  Get well soon, Debbie!!

Stampin’ Up! didn’t provide the Mason Jar, but I just happened to have one handy.  I think they are a required household item when you live in the South :-) By the way that is paper under the lid (not fabric).  Did you know you could do that?  Leave a comment if you want to know how.

This card uses the Tea Stain Stampin’ Spot from Stampin’ Up!’s Distressing Essentials Kit to antique the edges.  I REALLY like the effect.  I have to admit I have looked at this product in the catalog and thought to myself, “I don’t need that, I can antique Chocolate Chip or Sahara Sand.”  But, this gives a much more subtle look.  I can see that I will be using it a LOT!
